Hello, everybody! My name is Gray (they/them), and I am very excited to be the new Internships Coordinator at the Pace Center as part of my Project 55 Fellowship this year.

At the Pace Center, I will be working with students in the Bogle Fellowship and Service Focus programs most directly to provide advising & summer internship support. Throughout the year, I’ll be serving as the staff mentor for several Service Focus cohorts, facilitating meetings and planning larger-scale programming. I’m looking forward to working directly with students to bridge service and learning, seeking new ways to improve the effectiveness of our programming through data analysis and feedback from the students and the community.
I grew up in a small town in Delaware. Just a few months ago, I graduated from Princeton’s Great Class of 2021 with an AB in Politics, Quantitative/Analytical and Political Economy tracks, with certificates in African Studies and Ancient Roman Language/Culture. While at Princeton, I was involved in debate, Whig-Clio, the Glee Club, and the Katzenjammers. I was also a Bogle Fellow, and I was involved with Service Focus as a sophomore participant, Junior Fellow, and Senior Fellow!
Fun facts about me:
- I joined Service Focus in its inaugural year (Fall 2018), so I feel like we grew up with each other.
- I have a pet snail. My actual favorite animal is the African civet, but you aren’t allowed to have those as pets in the United States.
- I know Latin, but I don’t know how to speak it. The only language besides English that I can speak a lick of is Kiswahili!
